How to disable Comments on One Post in WordPress

To disable comments in one post do the following

1 .open the Posts you want to disable the comments on
2. From the top of the page, click on the "Screen Options" pull-down menu.
3. Click on the "Discussion" check box, and click "Screen Options" again.
4. Scroll down to "Discussion" and uncheck the "Allow Comments" box.
5 Click the "Publish" or "Update" button on the top of the page.
