you can convert your logos from photoshop to illustrator only if they are layered per color and NO GRADIENTS. after you imported a photoshop image in illustrator you can convert it to a vector image by using the AUTOTRACE. you can google how to use it. goodluck!

However, you cannot convert a multicolored image into a multicolored vector image in illustrator-AUTOTRACE will combine all the colored layers into one vector file. so if you want your multicolored photoshop image vectorized in illustrator- you need to import it per one color per layer. hope that helped...

maxx is right. when you already know how to use autotrace and trace image, you'll find them a little less helpful hehe..if you are a fan of detail, you would want to manually trace your art by PENTOOL in Illustrator or BEZIER TOOL in Coreldraw for a smoother vector image.

i think i'd rather make it directly now in illustrator than making it in photoshop then trace it in illustrator, it takes time... hehe.. thank you guys... one more question, when i starting to save my logo design in illustrator the whole page are not saved, only the logo design and a space on it. need help from this one....

It depends on how you save it. If you're saving your logo as an Illustrator file then the whole page will be saved too. For other formats you have the option to save with or without the page/artboard space (see the picture below --- just uncheck "Use Artboards") and it will only save your logo. That also depends on how you save the logo. Formats like eps and svg will keep the logo vector, while jpg png and gif will rasterize it (but it can be set at a good quality too). It all depends on your settings.but how about the quality of the logo? when i save it as you say and open it in illustrator, is the quality of the logo will be like on illustrator?
