can anyone share how to do the reflection thing....i mean i can make the shadow and the reflection but ,i dont get that feeling....this is just perfect..so please help me out...:)

Its simply done using radial gradients and opacity. I think the best way to learn these things is to figure it out yourself, you may even come up with something better!

Just spend some time trying to reproduce it and you'll get there.

Hint: Things like this always look better once you've saved them as png/jpeg then they do when you're viewing them in illustrator.

Routh, a piece of advice from me: try to avoid shades / gradient too much or at all if you can in logo contests. Keep it simple. About that shadow, as GJR said, you just have to practice. And search some good tutorials (video or not) out there if unsure how to get there... Good luck.
