Cropping Images in WordPress

If you upload your images from your phones or camera they would probably be too big and would need to be cropped. WordPress usually creates 3 different sizes for the original upload. However sometimes you still need to crop an image for a another preferred size. To crop an image in WordPress,
1.Go to Media
2.Select Add New
3.Upload the image you want to crop.
4.After you upload the image, the Edit link appears next to the uploaded image. Click on this edit link and you will see the Edit Media screen
5.Click on the Edit Image button under the image.
6.WordPress image editor will open. There are editing tools in this screen such as cropping, resizing, rotating, etc.. use the cropping tool to crop the image.
7.Save
