what colour in logo ? cmyk or RGB ?

I would choose a PANTONE color using illustrator so that way you can export it CYMK or RGB... just be aware that color value will change based on format you use. example if you use PANTONE 2955 c (coated) the blue will print/look different from RGB to CYMK ... One factor you really need to know is what is your design final output is it digital or print

Unless it's only gonna be used on screens (which is hardly never the case) I suggest you always design your logo in CMYK color mode, then you just make a RGB version of it to use on screen (and not the other way around). The CMYK color gamut is much narrower than the RGB one, so its very common that you get desaturated color equivalents in CMYK if you convert from RGB.
