I washed my sons ipod.....one of the little bitty new ones, the ones that seem like they aren't there! we've had for 20 days, and the thing won't turn on...
Has anyone washed? is it dead?....:confused:

maybe the battery cell died.. trying replacing it and pray it will work again :)

oh, no! what a loss for your son!
as the rasterbox said there is a chance it is just the battery. However if it doesn't turn on even with a new battery don't throw it away - I have heard stories about devices like phones restart working in a week or so... I wish you good luck!

I agree, replace the battery and maybe give it a little heat with a blow dryer.. not too much though you don't want to melt the plastic. It will eventually dry out and quite possibly work again as resurepus said.

:)ITS ALIVE!...I just plugged into computer dock this morning, the little orange lite is ON!!!!!:) Thanks for info all, I'll now see if it recharges, everything else looks good though, all the songs are there:):) what a tough little piece of equipment!

Let him dry well...it will work for sure. I dunno what will happen with the contacts after a period...but till then i-enjoy! :)
