To add Google Maps in WordPress

1.Go to http://maps.google.com/, and enter the address you want to display the map to
2.When you find the exact address, and click the link to display the code.
3.You can click on customize to customize the map
4.Copy the iframe code.
5.Go to your site and paste your embed code that you just copied in the page or post.
6.save and you Google map is now displayed on your website.

Follow these guidelines:

  • Locate/search the area in map where you want to add a new street or a road segment
  • Select Hamburger Menu from top left side of the map
  • Select 'Send Feedback' menu and choose 'Report missing road' option
  • Map will ask you to click/select the region where the missing road should be
  • Once you select the region, a red marker will appear along with a dialog seeking following details
    1. Name - mention the name/number of new street
    2. Other - Add a note highlighting the exact issue, provide details about how and why the street exist
  • Finally click on Submit to send the feedback.
