Nvidia vs ati?

I want to upgrade my PC, i confused to choose between NVIDIA or ATI. Assumed that all spec of the GPU are same. Which better? Thanks

you mean nvidia vs amd,i personally use a 7870 radeon hd,its awesome,i suggest you go with amd,most people go with nvidia,but amd products are relatively cheaper,so i suggest amd,

I am using NVIDIA video card for designing....It's also good in animation and editing.

Amd/Nvidia is a tempting argument but it doesn't matter - it's just a name! Some cards are better than others the best indicator is customer reviews - so I would say check the reviews for both amd and nvidea cards in your budget range and go with whatever comes out best.

BTW - amd bought out ati so you are both correct
