1. Assuming you have a basic Dreamweaver CSS layout page. Place your cursor in the position you want your menu bare to be.
2.click the icon of the menu bar on the Spry insert bar. This will display a dialog that asks you if you want the menu to be horizontal or vertical.
3.The menu bar will now display. You can customize the menu text.
4. select the menu bar in your document window and use the Property inspector to change properties. Highlight the different items in your menu bar, to change the text, move any item up and down or add/remove links.
5. preview your menu in your browser to see how it works
6.check the Code View in your Dreamweaver to see that your menu is a list styled with CSS.
7.A stylesheet for Spry widget was previously added to your website when the widget was added the widget.
8.You can change any appearance rules such as the color scheme etc.. by going to your CSS panel and modifying what ever you want. Make you changes then click ok.
9.When you are done customizing your menu bar, upload all your CSS, HTML, and JavaScript that was generated by Dreamweaver for your Spry widget to your server.
