Hello, i just want to share something that happen in my place were i lived.
Many of designer in my place judge that a designer who uses AI is better than designer than designer who uses Corel.
What's your opinion about this?

I think it's all about technique and how well your design captures the eye, both programs have there own unique features but I dont think which design software you use...

i think its because Abobe Illustrator is more popular and commonly used by the majority if the desingers..
as long as you can maximize features of a program you are good | a designer must be judged by his/her works

--my opinion :)

I used Corel Draw about 20 years ago. I didn't even think that CD was still been used in the market. I went to university in England and CD is not even taught.

Utter BS...it's the designer's creativity that makes him better, not his software...

Actually, I do my logo design with Corel Draw. I´m happy using it, because allows me to export almost to any other mode. Is easy to work with vectors and images. Feels like drawing with a pencil... (should be because all the years I have been using it jijiji). Through the years Corel D has become my prefered tool to design.

The program doesn't matter as much as what you do with it, though AI is the industry standard.

It's the the software. It's the designer itself that really matters and using techniques that suites you to make quality design.
