Hello!
New here, came seeking advice! Not trying to sell ****** or anything lol.
I work in a shop that creates sports jerseys. We often get a list of 20-40 different sets of names/numbers. Then it's an arduous task of manually inserting each name and number, and running an action that duplicates the artboard, setting it aside for later printing.
Just recently, we switched over to a fillable PDF order form. People fill out a form with a variety of text fields and drop-down menus to specify the exact specs of the garment they want.
Im wondering if it is possible to auto-import the data. So instead of having to click the name on the shirt, type it out, blah blah, if I just activate the macro and it automatically pulls the name from nametextfield1 and copies it, then duplicates that artboard, goes back to the original artboard, changes the next name to nametextfield2, copies that artboard, rinse repeat.
Im pretty decent with AutoHotkey, and I'm so obsessed with hotkeys that they should get a restraining order and move to a different state. I know there has to be a way to make this work. I was just hoping there may be a native feature since Acrobat and Illustrator are both of the same bloodline.
