You have to do a little be of work to manage this. Open the smart object for the actual card. Start with front. When you open the smart object you will see all layers used to create the plastic effect. All of them are smart objects as well. You will work with the top one because soon you save, it will update the rest automatic.
When you open the top smart object do this:
1. Make the canvas bigger so you can have space for drawing new rectangle. Increase it with 1 inch width and 1 inch high.
2. Draw new rectangle in white on top of the existing one. When done, turn visibility of the original lyer off and press save.
3. Save the general smart object and you are done.
4. Do the same for the back side of the business card.
