Newish Designer..

Hello everybody, I'm pretty new to the world of graphic design(especially design contests). I just received my degree in graphic design and although I have a lot of experience in other areas of design (industrial, interior, furniture) I'm really unsure of how to get my foot in the door and land a steady gig. Anybody have any suggestions/tips/own experiences to share?

Any response will be greatly appreciated, super excited and eager to jump into this side of the design industry!
