Money design (Norge)

Last week it was revealed that Oslo-based design agency Snøhetta had jointly won a competition to redesign the Norwegian banknote.

What is your opinion as designers on this new look ?

I have to say quite cool...or "unusual" will be better word for describing it.

There were also some other "not so usual" banknote designs in that competition. Starting from page 15 there can be seen some other entries. Have a look pages 17-21 there are some children's drawings. That would have been really awesome and brave move if this design would have been the chosen one.
