I do not go to college learning graphic course. So, I would like to know what are some basic graphic concept or theory or principle that they teach there.

Thanks @morabira! I'm glad you enjoyed the article. I think generic logo design is a big topic to cover, followup articles will come!

Just a suggestion. Pick previous DC winning logo, and ask that designer to write short description or rationale of that design...what is in his/her mind. Maybe a "logo of the month" as short article. But please don't pick my design because my english is bad hehe...

More stuff that involves the DC community perhaps (interviews and studies on designers like common mistakes). Latest news on graphic design.

Self-taught designers unite! I'm pretty sure they're the same as what you would learn from books and the internet. Some colleges might even be terrible.

I couldn't recall Operhal's interview until now. It was not that recent.

I am not candidate for sure, I had my 5 minutes. :)

Operhal was January:

https://www.designco...l-january-2015/

"Designer of the Month" and "Interview with a designer"  should always be 2 separate things.  Designer of the month should be the designer who won most medals.  The Interview could then be anyone interesting.

"Most Active"  & "monthy winners" should also be 2 seperate things.  The most active designers are often not the same as those who have won most.  Check for example sajid2032 & Junseiyu they are 2 of the most active designers here but i don't think either have won in the current "most active winners" category.

I suggest you look at some of the stats for designers and find any interesting facts.   Check out happyGD's win rate for example (86 contest 29 wins)!!!  I also wonder who has won the most medals this year? There must be loads of things you could work out.  Once you think of a few things ask the programmers to help out, it would take them no time to write a script to find stats like these.
