Hi All,

I'm a newbie here, I have some doubts.

I submitted 2 designs in a blind contest and explained the idea and I saw that appers in "comments" everyone can see what I explain and my designs??? or only me and the Client?

Other thing, I read that many of you have problems with the payment, how often is that??? I feel insecure now :(

Hi AdeG!

If you put # before the number of your entry (example #72) or you add your comment with design when uploading or when you click on your entry, then it will be visible only to you and client (and vice versa, when client do the same).

Regarding the payments, there is no problem at all. The posts you see are mostly from designers who do not read payment info/payment schedule:

https://www.designco...nt-information/

or from designers with finalized projects past 7th additional working day with the client, where client did not respond after (client didn't close the project).

No worries, just make sure you follow the rules.

Good luck! :)

Our payments are sent out every Thursday.

Delays can happen with skrill and WU

All banned designers have a 1 month auto hold on all payout requests

Some designers send payout requests after the Thursday cutoff and will then need to wait for the next weeks payouts

You will also read some designers ask why payment is under review, this happens when we have a concern about the designer or client/contest, we review the contest and or designers entries

You will also see some designers that request WU payouts and choose the  3 day, this is  3 business days from Thursdays payouts when mtcn is emailed

Most payout delays are due to designer error  :)

hi newbie here as well. when i join a contest and i win, how will i get paid?
if payment was set to paypal, how will the client know my paypal id?
do I have to set it in my account?
because all i see here in my finances page under paypal is "paypal ID and Amount"
so, does this mean i should add the client's payapl ID here and the amount he stated in the contest?

The client does not know and does not need to know your account or any ID ....
There exists DesignContest ...
Money that the client pays for the project stand at designcontest, while the completion of the project is released client or possibly administrators ....

Ok, so all I have to do once my design is picked as the winner is enter the prize amount and my paypal id, and design contest does the rest.

Yes, after finalizing the contest, balance should be increased by the amount of that contest.
After that, it would have to enter the desired amount and ask for the payment. Payments are every Thursday.

Hi there

One of contest payments is "under review." It has been like that for a few days now and I'm a bit concerned as I have no idea why it's being reviewed. Could someone assist me with this. I was hoping it would be paid out today.

Hey there. That's because payment is sent out each Thursday. Most likely, you will receive it today.

Hi there, I am newbie here

I just won my first contest and the payment has been sent by the client. I use paypal as a payment method but when I click the request button after entering the amount and my paypal ID there is listed "Please fix the following input errors: 1 email is not valid "
I am very sure that I entered my paypal ID correctly, and I have repeated it several times but the results are the same.

What happened? Is it because I request not on Thursday?

The paypal  email  is the paypal email you use to log into your paypal account. We show no error or issues with paypal emails
