This topic is spam for an interesting service
They draw clipping paths and make compound product shots as a service.
This used to be bread and butter work for production artists.
Many photographers will shoot products with a blue or green screen backgrounds and automate its removal with actions and scripts. (like movies)
Incidentally, there are Photoshop plugins to help make complex layer masks for things like hair, lace, chainlink fences, etc.

I am really happy for the generosity of those people behind Photoshop to bring this amazing software including Pen Tool to achieve the goal. Pen Tool from Photoshop is one of the best choices for me.
Why?
Simple, It allows me to create advanced shapes and selections, and a quick and efficient outline that I can adjust at any point along the way.

I think, Pen tool & Magic Wand tools both is best.

It always depend on the image. I would prefer to use the commonly used Pen tool for tracing then convert it to selection with 1 pixel Feather Radius then apply Mask. I would not prefer to use eraser tool to actually erase an image. But if i am about to removed a background from Heavy Color BG and detailed bristled Hair. I will definitely not use Pen tool but instead i will select carefully using Color Range.

I suggest using the Photoshop pen tool to remove the background. It comes with advanced features such as layer masks and refined edge options.
