add to profile button (+)

The "add to profile" button  (+) on the "my Designs" page no longer works.

Yes indeed! 

This button has been "out of service" for some time.

I guess that it is seldom used lately.

Indeed, it seems that designers are more likely to remove entries than post them.

I am reminded of eximus, a leading talented designer at DC, who left and wanted all evidence of his existence here removed.

All entries, all wins, all archives, and his name removed from the designers list....removed.

He was extremely concerned about pirates getting access to his work, 

Others left with him.

It is a real shame that he left. His work ranked among the very best.

In this age of rampant art theft for profit, it is hard not to have sympathy for this"closed" attitude.

Let us just say that it is another contemporary reality.

I have been active here for perhaps too many years.

Those who want to see my public profile just get the DC landing page.

So those entries on my personal profile page remain invisible.

Am I lucky to be invisible?

I do not think that I am in danger of massive piracy.

After all, none of these designs were selected.

I am perhaps the opposite of examus.

I fixed your issue

I was playing around with your name  and got to0 rethinking  maybe the space was causing  an issue in the backend.. sure enough

I removed the space  so  your username is  HerbertNordal  when you click on it  it now goes to your profile page

Also, the "Remove from Public Profile" button on the public profile page does not work.

Hi everybody! I think you're right Herbert Nordal! The coin has two sides. Designers for the most part delete their work, rather than publish it, since copying is still being continued to this day and this is really a sad reality. I think while there is a design there will be and its copying. Some customers themselves want to get a similar design, which can remotely remind them of a well-known brand, perhaps this is a marketing move or as a consequence, some other reason. From my little experience I can say that it's not the first time that a customer chooses the winner of a designer who took a ready logo or some other design from photostock or other resources and it's very sad! But in any case, the professional designer will always be in demand for his unique ideas and persistent perseverance to work and there will be customers who will appreciate this work. Thank you.

There seems to be little or no progress on getting these buttons to work.

Note that the first (belated) entry on this thread was In January.

Is there active in tech support, or just for emergencies?

The developers are working on the new site update.  The requests  have been seen. We are not sure when the new site release will be but they are working on this new site deveolpment

Still can't add my designs to my public portfolio!

I'm sure the developers knows best what technologies to use.

Pretty excited about the new update. If you need testers, I'm available.

My add button is not working either. Has this issue been addressed in the last 6 months?

The add button on my designs has not worker for over a year.

Neither has the delete button worked on the portfolio page.

You can add items to your public profile page from that page using the drag or drop select files feature.
