Neon signs having 3D effect

I am a designer at beginning level. I want to make neon sign using adobe Photoshop which have 3D effect.I try to make it but the edges of my neon sign are not seems smoothly curved. And i am worried to add glow feature in neon sign.Help required by any expert in neon signs creation. Thanks
