I believe it was better when the authors and the entry numbers of the eliminated designs were shown.

For example in contests with many eliminated entries when I want to report someone for copying I check all his entries to see if he had same idea before me, that was previously eliminated (I don't check eliminated designs when I submit) and then he made a version of his design after me - this is not a copy. Or he made several designs copying me and some of them were eliminated - this is a copy.

It's very hard to tell the difference if you cannot track the entry numbers of the designer's eliminated entries

This might seem selfish or stupid but, to take what Savina said a step further, would it not be better to make all the contests on this site blind rather than leave it up to the discretion of the client? I'm always thankful to see client feedback and occasionally a few eliminated designs (even if they're mine *cue sad face) as it limits the scope of what the client is looking but, on the flip side, not being able to see past eliminations makes it difficult when designing a current. I never want to be a copy of a copy and potentially make the admins lives more difficult in having to look at the timestamps to see who posted what first and when.

I might just be rambling and there's a good reason in preventing all blind contests, but I figured it was worth a shot in mentioning it!

That all said -

Savina, I must admit, I am in awe of your eagle eye when it comes to detecting some of the copies. I can only hope to become that aware and successful!
