Ask in a professional manner, but do not beg for ratings and reviews.

In this case there is something wrong with my thinking.
May I comment on my admiration for someone's design by leaving a comment on their post?
Am I wrong if I do it?
Is this some form of campaign to help contest holders vote on this?
Thank You.

I just want to ask how do you respond if you give a like or comment on someone else's design expressing admiration for the design they made. Is this a mistake?

Admiring someone else’s design is not a mistake; it is a testament to the natural and valuable process of appreciating creativity and effort. Drawing inspiration from others’ work can expand your perspective, ignite fresh ideas, and help refine your own distinctive style. Recognizing the strengths in someone else's designs fosters collaboration, encourages innovation, and deepens your understanding of what makes a design truly effective. Rather than perceiving admiration as a lack of originality, embrace it as an opportunity to learn, adapt, and grow in your creative journey

what you're doing is expressing appreciation rather than intimidation

Recognizing and valuing someone else's work is a form of respect. It shows you acknowledge their effort and talent, which is a compliment rather than a threat.
