here's another one for you guys to make fun of.
opinions and suggestions are more than welcome.

[edit]
me:
i wanted to keep the curly hair, so as not to take away from the shape of the 'e'
if her hair were too long, or in another shape other than a curly bun, i feared it would do just that.
the pants, could actually still work, as they are loose fitting. i didn't want to modify them, as again, it would take away from the shape of the 'e'
i also made the flying paper more 'dramatic'
*
client:
*
i REALLY like it....** a LOT!*
wow....

ok, i'd just want the boy to be a girl (cause im a girl) lol...** but i need the E or e to be more dramatic...** because i didnt immediately see the "e"...*

and i'd like to see the word "publishing" in text maybe where you the words describing the logo...

[edit]
client:
thats it!*

I LOVE IT!!!!** yayyyy!!!!*

client:

ok, so i like that.....

now this is where you are gonna hate me...** can you make her "bun" in the back of her head, and not on top?** or even make her have a ponytail in the back?*** something about the bun 'bump' on the top of her head that isnt working for me...

and if "publishing" can be PUBLISHING, i think we will be good to go....

thanks!!*

- i find it hard to read "e" , the one standing up looks much better
- there might be a little too many details
- the publishing can be enlraged a little
hope it helps

Cool idea!

I think the word publishing should be in the same font as IMAGINE. Using the serif font you have it kind of takes away from imagineme.

To me the logo reads IMAGINE MK if you have the child standing up. The last one where they are sitting down is much better. The flying papers is great gives the logo some movement.

Good job.

Yeah, I cant help but find it somewhat difficult to read that e. The one standing up and leaning against the M looks awesome however.

I agree with aset... I think the serif font takes away from the overall appearance of the logo. It looks a little too narrow to me. I love the concept though. I did have to look twice at the child standing as it came across as MK instead of ME as well.

My thought was one of two things for the final design. Is there any way to move her hands up just a notch? If you did that and then thinned her back resting on the M to where there was a thin crack of white space, I think it would be a lot easier read as an E. I hope that makes sense? Just my thoughts!

Other than that, I think it looks GREAT!!!!!:D

Nice concept.

Although the books look like dynamite sticks and in the first and second versions the person sitting looks like it's lighting the fuse.

The newer design seems much more balanced and friendlier.

may I ask what font did you use?

The one standing up is much clearer, I think the books look ok, but what is that little thing on them?
